The seas are about to get rough!
It's not even February 5th, and we are already being warned that the economy is about to plummet, but the good news is there is something you can do about it. In order to mitigate the financial slow down in your life, and to insulate yourself from the downturn which is expected to continue throughout all of 2019, only to return to a modicum of normal in the second half of 2020, the time is ripe for working on decluttering, organizing and making sure the 5 element remedies, as determined by your Flying Star Feng Shui floor plan, are in place by early February.
As I prepare my Feng Shui client's annually updated Flying Star remedies for 2019, the following is my counsel.
In 2019 the 8 Earth Star visits the center of your home, office or business. We are currently in the 20 year cycle of the 8 Period Earth Star until the end of 2023. The 8 Earth Star corresponds to the Gen trigram which is represented by the “mountain” energy. The combination of the annual 8 Earth Star and the Period 8 Earth Star means mountain above and mountain below. The two Gen trigrams together, Gen above and Gen below, form the #52 hexagram in the IChing. The meaning of the hexagram is “Keeping Still”.
This means that this year the world will enter a period of “slower growth.” A slow down in the economy is expected with the recovery not coming until the second half of 2020. However, the 8 Star is the wealth star and when it visits the center, as it does in 2019, it represents an optimistic outlook. This means that the global economy can be expected to emerge slowly from the slow down of 2019 in the second half of 2020. Mountain energy is one of stillness. The double mountain represents insurmountable blockages which necessitates stillness. Regular periods of rest will be very important, as knowing when to act when it is time to act, and how to be still when it is wise to keep still. These are the keys to obtaining the peace of mind necessary during this time.
Relax, take your shoes off, and sit a spell. Let go of thinking. Meditate on just being. Protect your vitality by exercising, eating properly and meditating. Avoid external conditions that threaten your peace of mind, and be careful not to suffocate your well being with your worries.
